Large Machining

Brant Hydraulics' Large Machining center continually invests in the latest machining equipment and a highly skilled workforce to ensure that the service provided and work produced is of the highest quality for our customers.

We provide large and heavy machined components to a broad range of industries including niche sectors that require specialist, high accuracy and quality parts such as Nuclear, Aerospace, Oil & Gas and Marine.

Operating from a production facility purposely fitted out to create a highly modern, fully functional machine shop, Brant Hydraulics' Large Machining center is able to carry out entire projects in-house taking them right through from the initial consultation to the machining and inspection of the completed product.

This ability means we can provide a fast, comprehensive and cost-effective service, and meet the challenging specifications and schedules called for by our customers.

Thanks to substantial investment in state-of-the-art floor type milling machines, we offer an impressive heavy CNC milling capacity with the ability to undertake large batch work or individual one-off pieces or projects. Our large milling capacity includes two Correa Axia floor-type milling machines with capability of up to 11.5m x 1.5m x (2.5m + 0.45m).

We have also recently made substantial investment in large capacity lathes. Working alongside 14 other CNC lathes mostly with Driven Tooling and two smaller Integrex, our Hankook Protec 9NC CNC lathe has the capability of turning parts of up to 920mm diameter x 4000mm length enabling us to offer large specialist capabilities to our customers for industries such as oil and gas and defence.

The quality and accuracy of the milled and turned components produced by our Large Machining cell is always of the highest standard. Please don't hesitate to contact us directly to discuss your requirements and see what we can do for you!
