Bogie (wheel truck) Loading

Simulating the load on the bogie and its impact on the track and foundation involves studying the forces, damages, and variations of the track and foundation under high-frequency and heavy loading conditions. The simulation also replicates the rolling of the wheelset on the steel rail, investigating the wheel-rail relationship, steel rail damages, and the development of wear under wheel action.

Specific simulation conditions include:

  • Vertical load: 500kN, two channels, 30Hz.
  • Longitudinal load: 250kN, single channel, 15Hz.
  • Lateral load: 150kN, single channel, 1.0Hz.

This simulation aims to comprehensively understand the effects of bogie loading on the track and foundation, specifically focusing on forces, damages, and variations under different loading conditions.
